General Management

• Assist with overall financial and business management with the aim of optimising returns from the enterprise

• Monitoring the progress of an enterprise by recording trading results and comparing budgeted figures to actual figures and highlighting opportunities or the need for corrective action as appropriate

• Investigate the feasibility of various options

• Assist with decisions on capital expenditure eg. machinery, additional area, stock, off farm investments etc

• Submit bank reviews and QRAA applications and negotiate with them as required

• Set up and assist with computerised record keeping and paddock recording

Advisory Sessions

• Review financial affairs with a view to improving the position and/or performance

• Discuss financial options

• Discuss investment options

Feasibility Studies/Agribusiness Reviews

Investigate and prepare detailed reports on the feasibility of a proposal or program eg proposed property development, diversification or expansion.

Reports include:-

• property descriptions

• plan of operations and comments on practical issues

• analysis of past results (where appropriate)

• preparation of projected cashflows

• comment on suitability of a proposal taking account of risk factors, practical management issues, etc

• overall financial position and family or personal considerations.

These can be one off, or ongoing reviews.
